Simultaneous contouring
Axis is a family of machining centres built around a stress-relieved cast-iron base and pre-loaded linear rails — the rigidity that lets you take a deep cut without chatter. The 5-axis head runs simultaneous contouring for impellers, dies, and complex aerospace brackets in a single setup. Segal CAM closes the loop: it ingests your model, infers the stock and fixturing, and posts collision-checked toolpaths directly to the controller, with tool-length probing and rigid tapping handled automatically.
